About Powell's Tire Services
Located at 494 Old Wright Shop Rd, Madison Heights, VA 24572, Powell's Tire Services operates as a tire shop serving Madison Heights in Virginia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Powell's Tire Services at (434) 847-5882; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 301 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded tire shops in Madison Heights.

I had a flat tire at home and my mechanic recommended Powell's since they were closer to my home. As soon as Dad and I got the wheel off, we took it to Powell's and had a new tire on in just 15 minutes. Pricing of tires was affordable and labor reasonable. Staff was all friendly and helpful despite being quite busy midday.
